Job Description
The Financial Markets group is a cross functional team with industry specialties to provide a broad array of services including securitization, fixed income and real estate valuation and advisory, portfolio acquisitions and cash flow modeling, transaction support, and due diligence.

The PwC Financial Market group has experience in all aspects of securitization, financial modeling, loan portfolio acquisition, servicing, valuation, asset analysis and due diligence, structuring alternatives, transaction closings and issuance, trustee and bond administration operations, investor reporting, financial reporting, compliance, Regulation AB reporting, technology, transaction surveillance, and risk management.

Minimum Academic Requirements: Bachelor's degree Preferred cumulative GPA: 3.3
Preferred Major GPA: 3.3
Client service associate positions are entry-level and job seekers are typically in the final academic year of completing their educational requirements or have graduated.

Degree Preferred: Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Qualitative Statistics, Financial Engineering, Accounting, Real Estate Finance, Hospitality or Economics

Certification(s) Preferred: Before starting at PwC, will be eligible to sit for the primary credential exam appropriate for relevant practice area, such as having 150 credit hours to sit for the CPA exam in certain states.

Job Duties:

Play an integral role as a professional on PwC's Financial Markets Team supporing clients including but not limited to:
- applying accounting standards to structured finance;
- real estate valuation and advisory
- market pricing and analytics including preparing documentation and findings to management
- preparing tax returns with respect to fixed income securities, and structured transactions, and market participants;
- projecting and modeling collateral and bond cash flow for asset backed securities, mortgage backed securities, and collateral debt obligations.
- designing financial models using the discounted cash flow method, guideline public company or transaction method, or option pricing analyses
- analyzing third party valuations by challenging assumptions and performing sensitivity analyses. Participate in a wide range of projects across various firm functions; consistently demonstrating creative thinking and individual initiative. Consistently demonstrate teamwork dynamics through working as a team member: understand personal and team roles; contribute to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members; proactively seek guidance, clarification and feedback; and, provide guidance, clarification and feedback to less experienced team members. Identify and address client needs: build solid relationships with clients; develop an awareness of Firm services; approach client in an organized and knowledgeable manner; deliver clear requests for information; and demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks.

Job Requirements:

A solid understanding of financial accounting, capital marketsmanagerial accounting, taxation, and financial mathematics financial reporting systems. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and current accounting policies and procedures. Demonstrated ability to research and analyze pertinent client, industry, and technical matters. Experience demonstrating effective problem solving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Ability to interact with various levels of client and firm management in both written and verbal form. Ability to self-motivate and take responsibility for personal growth and development.
