Job Description
As we aim to rapidly grow the Cybersecurity and Privacy practice, we are looking for consultants who are passionate about how strategy and technology can improve the role of cybersecurity, privacy and data protection in our digital world. PwC Cybersecurity and Privacy consultants are an integral part of the Firm’s overall practice in providing our clients with solutions to complex and challenging issues in the areas of security, privacy and risk. Our consultants combine deep technical expertise, analytical skills and inquisitive mindsets to help our clients assess, design, implement and operate cybersecurity and privacy solutions. Our teams are frequently engaged with industry leading Fortune 500 companies in helping solve critical business issues around security and privacy related to their most high profile assets and situations. Our practitioners develop security strategies and roadmaps, perform white hat attack and penetration testing, implement security operations technologies (such as security information and event management, identity and access management systems) and design security operations programs to identify and monitor malicious activities.

PwC’s Cybersecurity and Privacy practice helps client think more broadly about security and move boldly toward new possibilities. We offer an end-to-end portfolio of services that are covered by our four solution areas:

Minimum Academic Requirements: Bachelor's degree Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in one of the following: Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Regulatory Compliance, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics and/or other business field of study.


Degree Preferred: Preferred cumulative GPA: 3.3 Preferred Major GPA: 3.3
Eligible students should be in the 3rd year of a 4 yr degree program or in the 4th year of a 5yr program.
Client Service Associate positions are entry-level, and job seekers are typically in the final academic year of completing their educational requirements or have graduated.


Job Duties:

Demonstrates some knowledge and/or a proven record of success in technology, security, and/or privacy through class work or internships and applying technical solutions to business issues.

Demonstrates some knowledge and/or a proven record of success to gather solution or project requirements through interaction with business and technology leaders, including the following areas:

- Analyzing and assessing business and/or technical security and privacy issues;
- Implementing and executing the designed solutions while working to complement and enhance our clients ongoing security operations functions; and,
- Demonstrating involvement in a diverse array of projects and various training courses to develop industry, technical, and interpersonal acumen to enhance overall knowledge, develop career agility and advancement, and build client relationship skills.


Job Requirements:

Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success in solving complex cybersecurity and privacy issues through a mix of technical and business focused capabilities including the following areas:

- Developing and sustaining a wide ranging set of technical and data analysis skills;
- Capturing and communicating business and technical concepts and processes via reports and presentations prepared using firm-issued technology (Microsoft and Google suite of tools);
- Communicating in an organized and knowledgeable manner to deliver clear requests for information;
- Demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks;
- Contributing to a positive working environment by building relationships with team members;
- Proactively seek guidance, clarification, and feedback;
- Communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor;
- Promoting the PwC Cybersecurity and Privacy culture of shared values and principles, exhibiting general awareness about economics, technology, culture, business or regulations to identify and address client needs;
- Learning and developing at every opportunity, including soliciting and applying feedback;
- Leveraging resources or creative methods in the face of change or uncertainty and fostering collaboration and teamwork to contribute to the team's success;
- Understanding various facets of risk management, including cybersecurity, privacy, technology risk controls, corporate compliance and regulatory mandates;
