Job Description
The Financial Markets group is a cross functional team with industry specialties to provide a broad array of services including securitization, fixed income and real estate valuation and advisory, portfolio acquisitions and cash flow modeling, transaction support, and due diligence.

The PwC Financial Market group has experience in all aspects of securitization, financial modeling, loan portfolio acquisition, servicing, valuation, asset analysis and due diligence, structuring alternatives, transaction closings and issuance, trustee and bond administration operations, investor reporting, financial reporting, compliance, Regulation AB reporting, technology, transaction surveillance, and risk management.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 3 3 years of success in a role as an individual contributor in a team-oriented environment


Minimum Academic Requirements: Pursuing a Master's degree Pursuing a Master's degree in Business Administration
Preferred cumulative GPA: 3.3
Preferred Major GPA: 3.3
Eligible students should be in the 3rd year of a 4 yr degree program or in the 4th year of a 5yr program. Client service interns typically join us during the winter/spring or summer prior to their intended graduation year.


Certification(s) Preferred: Before starting with PwC full time, will be willing and able to adhere to the credentialing standards of the Financial Markets practice. This includes completion of all 4 parts of the CPA exam or CFA Level 1.


Job Duties:

Senior Associate Interns will work as a team member within the Financial Markets practice as they provide services to clients including:
- Applying accounting standards to structure finance;
- Real estate valuation and advisory services;
- Market pricing and analytics including preparing documentation and findings to management, preparing tax returns with respect to fixed income securities and structured transactions;
- Projecting and modeling collateral and bond cash flow for asset backed securities, mortgage backed securities, and collateral debt obligations;
- Designing financial models using the discounted cash flow method, guideline public company or transaction method, or option pricing analysis; and,
- Analyzing third party valuations by challenging assumptions and performing sensitivity analysis.

Job Requirements:

The selected individual will be expected to demonstrate thorough knowledge that includes, but is not limited to, the following:

Financial accounting;
- Capital markets managerial accounting; -Taxation and financial reporting systems;
- Generally accepted accounting principles; and,
- Current accounting policies and procedures.

The selected candidate will be expected to demonstrate some ability to:

- Demonstrate effective problem solving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks;
