Job Description
The National Quality Organization provides effective communications to the Assurance practice by developing and managing tools and databases that support our practice on technical accounting, auditing and SEC reporting matters.

National Office consultants provide quality, timely, value added advice and counsel on accounting and financial reporting matters to engagement teams and clients.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 0

Minimum Academic Requirements: Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Preferred cumulative GPA: 3.3
Preferred Major GPA: 3.3.
Eligible students should be in the 3rd year of a 4 yr degree program or in the 4th year of a 5 yr program.
Client service interns typically join us during the winter/spring or summer prior to their intended graduation year.


Certification(s) Preferred: Before starting with PwC full time, will be eligible to sit for the primary credential exam appropriate for the appropriate practice area, such as having 150 credit hours to sit for the CPA exam in certain states.


Job Duties:
The selected individuals will play a role as an intern in PwC's National Quality Organization to aid in providing value added services to the Assurance practice that includes the following:
- Participating in select projects that demonstrate creative thinking and individual initiative.
- Cultivating teamwork dynamics through working as a team member: understanding personal and team roles; contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members; and proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback.
- Demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks and communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor.


Job Requirements:
The selected individuals for the opportunity will have demonstrated the following:
- A client service orientation combined with creative problem solving skills;
- An ability to utilize effectively written and verbal business communication skills when interacting with clients and firm staff and/or management in a professional services business environment;
- An ability to work effectively as part of a team, yet function well with independent responsibilities, including an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
- An ability to research pertinent client, industry, and technical matters.
