Within Tax our Global Mobility Services (GMS) practice is the leading provider of tax and related human resource and technology services to companies with respect to their cross-border employees.

GMS clients are primarily mid-sized to FORTUNE 500 companies, who

share a need for global expansion, related cost containment, and workforce retention.

IAS provides tax return preparation for company employees who work outside their home country, tax planning to reduce costs related to international assignment programs and administration and technology related to the management of certain HR tasks to support international assignments, such as relocation and cost of living calculations.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 0

Minimum Academic Requirements: Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Preferred cumulative GPA: 3.3
Preferred Major GPA: 3.3.
Eligible students should be in the 3rd year of a 4 yr degree program or in the 4th year of a 5 yr program.
Client service interns typically join us during the winter/spring or summer prior to their intended graduation year.


Degree Preferred: Master's degree in Accountancy or Taxation


Certification(s) Preferred: Before starting with PwC full time, will be eligible to sit for the primary credential exam appropriate for the appropriate practice area, such as having 150 credit hours to sit for the CPA exam in certain states.



Job Duties:
Play a role as an intern in PwC's International Assignment Services practice. Participate in select phases of an individual's tax return preparation. Participate in select projects; demonstrate creative thinking and individual initiative. Contribute to collaborative teamwork, through working effectively as a team member: understanding personal and team roles; contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members; proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback. Flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks; and communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor. Ability to exercise professional skepticism in the critical assessment of tax rules and regulations as related to the HR services environment.


Job Requirements:
A desire to pursue a career in Tax. Ability to interact with various levels of client & firm management through both written and verbal communications. Demonstrated self-motivation and has a desire to take responsibility for personal growth and career development.
