Job Description
The Advisory Forensic Services practice provides financial, forensic, economic and statistical services to companies and their attorneys involved in litigation, arbitration, mediations and corporate investigations. We recognize that no single professional is right for all issues. To help a company with its specific needs, we pull together a specialized team from our national and global network of professionals who are leaders in their fields including analysts, actuaries, accountants and fraud examiners. We are prepared to offer guidance and assistance on claims processing, serve as expert witnesses, conduct fraud and forensic investigations and develop value-preserving solutions for companies experiencing weakening performance.

In particular, we help clients with corporate investigations, forensic technology solutions, complex commercial litigation, economic analysis, insurance issues, environmental, construction and government contract disputes. We also investigate fraud and related financial issues during bankruptcy and business reorganizations. By effectively examining the issues and communicating our findings, we work with our clients to make intelligent, informed decisions whether in the boardroom or in the courtroom.

The PwC Corporate Intelligence team is comprised of a group of diverse, multi-lingual, highly skilled professionals who are experienced researchers, investigators, and intelligence analysts with in-depth, country-specific and industry knowledge as well as a passion for helping businesses combat corruption, fraud, and other threats. PwC’s Corporate Intelligence professionals help companies identify risks through the focused collection and analysis of information from open sources, social media, public records, and syndicated databases. We prepare deliverables with targeted analysis that focuses on relevant risk issues and which are customized to provide the client with the right information to assist them in making critical assessments and informed decisions.

As part of PwC’s Advisory Forensic Services practice, the Corporate Intelligence team protects opportunities for clients by working with them to strategically prepare for and manage the changeable complexities of the evolving threat landscape and by providing unparalleled resources and insights to investigate fraud, assist in risk management and mitigation, and identify and analyze vulnerabilities
- whether in one country or worldwide. With a strong Forensics presence in more than 40 countries, our strategic threat management approach enables us to work with international clients to anticipate, manage, and respond to threats, while also helping clients become "threat-smart." Our Forensics professionals possess core forensics capabilities as well as forensic technology expertise and offer clients a unilateral advantage in investigating problems that extend across borders or that afflict multinational organizations. Our Forensic Services consultants help clients protect business opportunities in today's evolving threat landscape. Our global team prevents, investigates, and remediates the issues arising from regulatory, legal, and commercial minefields that can damage brand and bottom line if left unchecked and helps clients develop dynamic, adaptive strategies before a crisis occurs.
