Within Tax our Global Mobility Services (GMS) practice is the leading provider of tax and related human resource and technology services to companies with respect to their cross-border employees.

GMS clients are primarily mid-sized to FORTUNE 500 companies, who

share a need for global expansion, related cost containment, and workforce retention.

IAS provides tax return preparation for company employees who work outside their home country, tax planning to reduce costs related to international assignment programs and administration and technology related to the management of certain HR tasks to support international assignments, such as relocation and cost of living calculations.

Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 0

Minimum Academic Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Preferred cumulative GPA: 3.3
Preferred Major GPA: 3.3
Client service associate positions are entry-level and job seekers are typically in the final academic year of completing their educational requirements or have graduated.


Degree Preferred: Master's degree in Taxation


Certification(s) Preferred: Before starting at PwC, will be eligible to sit for the primary credential exam appropriate for relevant practice area, such as having 150 credit hours to sit for the CPA exam in certain states.


Job Duties:
Play an integral role as a professional in PwC's International Assignment Services practice. Participate in all phases of preparing an individual's tax return, including planning, execution and completion. Research tax laws, rules and regulations and analyze their application to individual situations. Participate in a wide range of projects; consistently demonstrate creative thinking and individual initiative. Consistently demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team environment: understanding personal and team roles; contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members; and proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback. Identify and address client needs: build solid relationships with clients; develop an awareness of Firm services; approach clients in an organized and knowledgeable manner; deliver clear requests for information; and demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks.


Job Requirements:
A solid understanding of individual tax compliance services, including planning, strategy and execution. General knowledge of personal, federal and state tax laws. Demonstrated ability to research & analyze tax laws, rules and regulations and to analyze pertinent client, industry, and technical matters. Experience demonstrating strong problem solving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Ability to interact with various levels of client and firm management through both written and verbal communications. Demonstrated self-motivation and has a desire to take responsibility for personal growth and career development.
