The PwC Risk and Regulatory team brings a combination of deep industry expertise and an understanding of the evolving regulatory environment to help our clients navigate the regulatory complexities of running their business and executing on their strategies.
Some of the services that PwC's Risk & Regulatory Team provides include:
- Working with our clients' regulatory policy teams to understand the impact of proposed legislation or regulation on their business and operations and advising them on their regulatory interaction strategy
- Advising C-Suite Executives on aligning their business strategy and operating model to the evolving regulatory environment
- Assisting our clients in assessing and implementing the changes required by new or changed laws or regulations


- Assisting the General Counsel's office in managing and addressing regulatory inquiries or enforcement actions

Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 0


Minimum Academic Requirements: Pursuing a Juris Doctorate


Job Duties:

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:


- Analyzing the current regulatory environment – including existing and proposed laws, rules and regulations – to understand the potential impact on our clients’ strategy and operations.


- Conducting research to develop an understanding of our clients’ business, relevant industry dynamics, existing market conditions, and certain technical aspects of the business.


- Utilizing problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and devise creative solutions while prioritizing multiple tasks.


- Preparing relevant memoranda and presentations for clients and PwC team members – a strong writing ability is a must.


- Creating presentations to most effectively communicate our message to our clients or other stakeholders.


- Demonstrating strong teaming skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, partners and other staff.


Job Requirements:

Demonstrated flexibility and desire to travel, as client assignments require.

Background or demonstrated interest in Financial Services, Communications Law (e.g. FCC), Healthcare Law, or Privacy a big plus.
